Vilhjálmur Vilhjálmsson was born 11th april 1945. His father, Vilhjálmur Hinrik Ívarsson was a well known musician in Iceland and his sister Eldey (better known as Elly) became famous to Icelandic people long before Vilhjálmur's debut.
